I have never done a blog before.  I also do not claim to be a good writer, so please pardon my grammar....I am only a country girl after all.  However, I do want to keep everyone informed on our lives, especially with this upcoming new addition (and our current new additions).  Here it goes.  First off, I am not sure that everyone has seen BP, so here is the best ultrasound picture
.

I went to the doctor yesterday.  They tell me all looks good.  I have now gained 30 pounds, which apparently is about where I should be.  I am also measuring right where I should be.  For those of you who don't know (or remember)...the due date is April 19th and the child is supposed to be a boy!

Almost a week ago, we had a bad experience with mice.  Now, if you know me, I do not like mice.  I do not even touch the mouse trap?  Stupid?  Maybe since it helps get rid of something I don't like, but I don't want to be that close to one (even if it's empty).  Growing up, there were mice that ran and I would scream and try my best not to touch the floor until a mouse was caught.  Luckily (for me, not Dan), the only place we had caught mice were up above our microwave (where we thought we were getting them before they entered the house).  Of course, this means standing on a stool daily to see if the trap had been sprung and if their were any mice. Dan loved doing this each time (as I said I wouldn't).  One day, I get a text at work at like 4 in the morning.  Long story short...we now have a cat!

I have never had a desire to have an indoor animal, but my hatred of mice outweigh.  Thanks to my Grandma and Grandpa, we were able to get a cat for free and one who had been litter trained.  This cat does not like to be held, but loves to sit on your lap and to play with "homemade" toys.

Oh, what fun an old shoe box and some twine can do....

I am sure there is lots that most of you don't know, but this will hopefully help keep that gap a lot smaller!
