I-Cubs

Noah was excited to go to the ballgame. He liked Cubbie bear, but not once he got up close to him. It was a very hot day and Noah didn't take a nap before we went. He did really well! They both crashed on the way to grandma's for supper.
Thanks to a couple church friends for going with us! It was a great day!

1week check-up

Well, is official she is a week old and much smaller than Noah (as if I even need to say that).

Height: 19.25"..... 21%
 (Noah was born at 21")
Weight: 6 lbs 3 oz..... 5%
Head circumstance: 13.25"...... 10%

For those of you who do not know or remember, yes she has lost weight since she was born. They like them to be back at birth weight by week 2.

Oh Hannah!

Daddy trying to teach letters using a game on the computer.

Noah stopping to smell the flowers :)

Noah in a bike trailer... He loves it!

A huge thanks to Dan for all he did this week to make my life easier!

Thanks mom and dad for taking Noah so much this week! It is a good break for all 3 of us!

Out on the Town!

We've ventured out into the big bad world with a quick visit to the library. I'd like to tell you that Hannah picked out and read a few books, but she decided to wait a few weeks for that. As usual, Noah made a bee-line for the duplo train table and convinced Dan to set aside his magazine and build a tunnel for the train. The 'tunnel' arguably rivals the Brandenburg Gate or Arc De Triumph in grandeur... just saying.

First days at home

Hannah and Noah are getting more used to each other. Noah loves to see and hold baby Hannah. This morning he kept wanting to hold her, he didn't care about getting ready or eating breakfast. Whenever he sees her feet pop out if the blanket he worries about her and goes over to cover her feet. He also like to snuggle and hug baby Hannah!

Saturday

Today has gone pretty well. Andrea is continuing to improve after the c-section and Hannah is slowly staying awake a little more each time today.

Proud Grandpa! (Thanks mom and dad for taking care of Noah while we have been here). Noah snuggled with baby Hannah, but he also liked going on walks and playing on the bed.

Hannah's first few days

Hannah seems to be adjusting to life outside the oven.  A lot of sleep and enough tar poop to pave a highway.  Andrea's also on the mend- cordless and back to a full solid diet within 24 hours.  Noah enjoys seeing baby Hannah, but doesn't seem to realize that she's going to be coming home with us in a few days.

Happy Mother's Day

This is not a typical Mother's Day.... But pretty great all the same :)

First came church, then an ICubs baseball game with Mom, Jen, Steve, and Dan while grandma and grandpa stayed at our house with the kids for naps.

At the game, we got a choice of a mini manicure or mini massage....

It then started to rain, so we left. We didn't feel we missed out on much as we were up by like 13.... We got home and had a cookout in the garage, in case it rained again...

Then Dan relaxed by playing a computer game while I blog... Night all!

Tulip Time

After an early nap, we went to tulip time to see the parade, eat supper, and have a quick walk through the dutch market (crafts).

It was great to see people we hasn't seen in a while too... It sprinkled a little during the parade... But it wasn't a lot. It made it perfect weather wise... cloudy, but warm... With not a huge crowd :)
