Adventureland

Mommy, Daddy, and Noah had a great day at Adventureland while Hannah helped Grandma Char bake and clean :) It was a beautiful day and we even had some friends from church to go with!

Daddy and some of the other family wanted to go on the new roller coaster...since they wouldn't let me ride it, I got to go on some kiddie rides.  This was the Der Flinger.  Ella had never been on the ride, but couldn't let Noah out rider her so here we all are!  They both LOVED the ride!  We rode it twice until the rest of the group could join.

Don't remember the name of this one....Ella was so cute... she "mommed" him the whole time and helped him into all the rides.

She tried to teach him ski ball.

Picnic Lunch...it was GREAT!

Then Noah's first time on a Carousel...he just wanted to ride on a normal seat though...

This was the last ride before he went home with the family.  He was almost asleep on these last couple rides. 

The fun didn't stop at Adventureland for them... come back to their house for baseball (while Mommy and Daddy had a date!)

2016 Iowa State Fair

Noah, Hannah and Mommy went to the Iowa State Fair on Friday and Saturday.

We enjoyed looking at the little animals...

Then we went to Little Hands on the Farm.  Noah was so tired, but we told him if he went through he would get a snack :) 

They planted in the garden...

I think this was a highlight :) He loves digging in the dirt...

It was sooo hot! We didn't spend much time at the barn (or on the grounds).

We DID get to stay in the camper all night....

They ate supper, watched some tv, and cooled off back at the camper for the night.

The next morning was SHOW day (well Friday was too...but not for this Mommy). Steven, Jen, Aubrey, and Avery joined us for this day.

They loved the cows.  Noah thought he was "big stuff" because he could use a red comb.  Hannah loved going by them when they were laying down.  She just stood by them and patted/petted them.  She did not like when we were getting them ready and she couldn't pet them.

Hannah was really tired. She slept for 11 hours (but woke up many times and cried herself back to sleep).

This did mean that between cows and being sooo tired... she went to Grandpa Craig.  He was one happy guy that he was able to hold her as she slept :) 

Then he had to get to work, so Mommy got some sleepy time too

By this time, we were ready to got to little hands with Steven, Jen, Aubrey, Avery, and Grandma Char before heading home and seeing daddy

They get to buy a snack when they are done :)

We also got to ride on a wagon behind a tractor :)
