Christmas Decoration Time!

Knowing full well that if I wait until after Thanksgiving to decorate it might not happen, we took the plunge Saturday and decorated!  Noah was a HUGE help.  He found all the letters for me (I labeled each branch level a different letter).  We then had "learning time" where he was able to tell me what came before other letters.... he is really good at the alphabet, but this made him really stop to think (since "A" is on top).  Hannah also got to help by passing some of the branches to  us (although they were not always the ones we needed :) ).  Daddy helped string the lights and Noah put on all the bottom ornaments (where he could reach).

Last year after Christmas we hit the "after" sale.  We got this 4 ft tree for a GREAT deal.  This is one that will stay downstairs for the "kids" tree.  They are welcome to decorate it and redecorate it as often as they want (as long as they don't touch MY tree upstairs!).  They have all non-breakable ornaments from when I was little and ones that they have received.

Ok... you caught me.  This one has nothing to do with Christmas decorating.  It was too cute not to post though.

Halloween Party

There was a free event on the square and Aubrey, Avery, Grandma Char, Noah, Hannah, and Mommy went.

Noah wasn't sure he wanted to go in the bounce house because he had to take his shoes off, but eventually he decided to go in and he had lots of fun!

Aubrey and Avery rode together on the train and Noah and Hannah rode together.  I walked (jogged) beside them as it was Hannah's first time without riding with an adult.

Sibling Love!

Hannah is now at a booster seat full time.  She is much better during meal time and enjoys it.  Noah is a bit blurry, because he was trying to get in the picture (he thought it was only of Hannah).

They are super cute.  Noah does "trot, trot to Boston" with her :) 

Dolly

Noah was able to get a new cow (thanks Grandma and Grandpa)!   Noah was trying so hard to be brave...here is how he did.

"Dolly" is sooo tame.  Noah was able to sit on the bred heifer...Noah thought it was pretty cool until it started wiggling- then he wasn't sure.

He led Dolly and thought it was pretty cool when Grandpa wasn't holding on...as long as he could stay at the end of the halter rope :) 

Maybe this isn't soo bad- Noah got braver :) 

Hannah didn't like when Noah was leading Dolly, because that meant she couldn't be petting/sitting on her :)

Then when we went home on Saturday, there was cement between driveways (Thanks Brenda, Kirk, and Dan)... we got home just in time for Noah to write "Hannah" and "Noah" in the cement.

Noah's First Dentist Appointment

We were able to start out with a fun snack at Culver's with Grandma Char on her lunch break before we went to the dentist.

Noah first sat in the chair...

They then let him watch a show about a dog going to the dentist for the first time to help them learn what to expect.

Grandma Char got to work on him!  Clean and count his teeth (10 on top and 10 on bottom).

He was very excited he got some "prizes" for being so good including tattoos!  He is counting down the time to his next appointment.
