whirlwind week

I don't typically post work photos, but I can't resist....

Some of our Senior 4-H members put in a lock-in for 4-6th graders. We had a bunch of youth and Senior 4-H in blue, and 4 adults (including myself). The lock in went from 8pm to 7am.... We had at least 20 youth and the adults stay up the whole time.

We all enjoyed the nice weather with walks, playing outside, and going to parks.

Noah went to Aubrey and Avery's birthday party.

I had annual conference for work where we had the Iowa nice guy (name from YouTube) and Joseph Michelli (author) as our motivational speakers.

 After no sleep at the lock in, I went to a Wisconsin simmental sale... Meet Noah's cows!

Growing Up

Noah helped Daddy set up bunk beds...

Big Boy

I'm not too big to look at a baby book... I will tell you the colors I see!

We have been working on colors.  He gets them right sometimes and wrong others... although answering before he even looks doesn't help....

He likes to go in and get Mommy's cowgirl hat... good thing it's already broken...

Yes, that is a cowgirl hat on top of an "old" hat that Grandpa gave us...

Not pictured:  Noah is learning letters... not the typical way though.  He won't tell you the letter, he will tell you a word that STARTS with the letter he sees... Crazy Boy....

Play Date

Noah woke up in the morning and didn't want to go to the babysitters...

He just laid down in the simi-dark room and started coloring...

I went up stairs to try to do a couple things before work and came down and he was still coloring.

Then Mommy picked him up for lunch and a nap at home.  After the nap... comes the fun play date!  This boy is only a month(ish) younger than him!

It was so cute... apparently this boy won't go up stairs without his mom following.  They were so comfortable together, they left us... and went upstairs!

Noah liked all of his trucks... here is lining them up... a must...

Here he was moving them so they could be shared....

Little boy, "Hey look it's just my size!"

Noah, "Hey, that's cool, I'm going to sit on your lap!"

 Little boy, "Hey, you are too big... I'm getting out of here!"

At supper he thought he was too big to sit in his high chair....

Last game of the season... for us

We had a wonderful night.  Starting with Pizza Ranch with my Mom, Dad, Aubrey, Jen, and Avery.

He looks at this picture and can now say Aubrey and Avery's names... well most of Avery.

Noah looks at this picture on my phone and says... More Gama.... so cute... even if he did steal the chair I was using!  Noah was too busy watching the basketballs to look at the camera :)

Daddy came upstairs with Noah and said... look Noah is cool now...

I will never understand the mismatched socks.....**sigh**
