Just Bummin Around
Not much new, except that we took Noah to the Chiropractor.
It has been really good for him.

Noah and the Christmas Tree
I was unloading the dishwasher and put Noah in the
MIDDLE of the room...He rolled himself over to the tree...
Started playing with the tinsel...
Found presents...Note: Both the one he grabbed out and the one his hand
is on...are both HIS!

I moved him away from the tree...and he went back and grabbed the branch!!!

I have this "guideline" that I do not set up the tree until after Thanksgiving, however, with us celebrating our first Christmas Dec. 1, we thought it was time to set up the tree as we had a lot of wrapped gifts already....

Just for fun...
Things around here are starting to settle into a winter routine...We have caught lots of mice, so
we now have more outdoor cats....other than that and fires, everything is
going as usual.

6 Month Stats
Noah went to the doctor today and we found out....
He weights 20 lbs 8.5 oz (90%)
He is 28 inches tall (92%)
His head circumference is 17.75" (84%)
What a perfectly proportionate boy!
Other things about Noah:
*He likes to jump and stand.
*He can rock on his hands an knees.
*He has tried apples, bananas, peas, green beans,
carrots, squash, oatmeal, and baby cereal.
*He has found out that people are great playgrounds!

God Protects and Halloween
God Protects
On Monday, I was helping do things in Grandpa's field. It was an interesting. I love it helping, being out in nature. In the tractor I saw a deer, and a bunny rabbit. I was listening to music, seeing nature, and loving every minute of it....UNTIL.......I started noticing that I was missing some corn stalks when I was mowing. I just thought maybe I was too far over. Over more thought, I realized that the deck was too big to have missed that, so something must have broken. I started calling Grandpa to see if he wanted me to go up to the house to get it fixed or if he wanted to come check it out. Of course, Grandpa was busy doing other things and was unable to hear his phone. I started trying to look at it myself. I started seeing smoke. Leaving out many details, Grandma had to go get Grandpa, I called 911. It took 20 minutes for the deputy to there, 25 minutes for Clay Township fire truck to get there (and there was only person, so they couldn't start right away). When someone else got there, they could not figure out how to run the pump. It took like 40 minutes for Knoxville Rural to get there. Grandpa was in another tractor with a loader trying to smother/contain the fire. We also had a shovel to smother out the fire by the attached tractor in order to try to save the tractor. The rotary mower has many damaged parts, but praise God nobody got hurt! It was quite exciting!
