Noah went to the doctor today and we found out....

He weights 20 lbs 8.5 oz (90%)

He is 28 inches tall (92%)

His head circumference is 17.75" (84%)

 

What a perfectly proportionate boy!

 

Other things about Noah:

*He likes to jump and stand.

*He can rock on his hands an knees.

*He has tried apples, bananas, peas, green beans,

carrots, squash, oatmeal, and baby cereal.

*He has found out that people are great playgrounds!

God Protects

On Monday, I was helping do things in Grandpa's field.  It was an interesting.  I love it helping, being out in nature.  In the tractor I saw a deer, and a bunny rabbit. I was listening to music, seeing nature, and loving every minute of it....UNTIL.......I started noticing that I was missing some corn stalks when I was mowing. I just thought maybe I was too far over. Over more thought, I realized that the deck was too big to have missed that, so something must have broken.  I started calling Grandpa to see if he wanted me to go up to the house to get it fixed or if he wanted to come check it out. Of course, Grandpa was busy doing other things and was unable to hear his phone.  I started trying to look at it myself.  I started seeing smoke.  Leaving out many details, Grandma had to go get Grandpa, I called 911.  It took 20 minutes for the deputy to there, 25 minutes for Clay Township fire truck to get there (and there was only person, so they couldn't start right away). When  someone else got there, they could not figure out how to run the pump. It took like 40 minutes for Knoxville Rural to get there. Grandpa was in another tractor with a loader trying to smother/contain the fire. We also had a shovel to smother out the fire by the attached tractor in order to try to save the tractor.  The rotary mower has many damaged parts, but praise God nobody got hurt!  It was quite exciting!

6 Months Old

Can you believe it? 6 months old today!

 

 Noah pushes himself like a bulldozer...he gets his knees up and pushes the rest of his body.

Oh what a weekend!

I am sorry, I started putting captions above pictures again...I can't figure out which to do....*sigh*

 

I had my first big fall. A not so nice tray tricked me. I thought it was secure, but when I tried to hug it, the tray went forward and out I went.  Right out of the high chair.  I'm ok though. I cried for a little bit, but I'm a BIG GUY after all!  When I was in nursery this weekend, I looked like I was the BIG MAN in nursery and NOBODY dared mess with me! I'm tough stuff!  Don't worry all who love me, it's the first of many.

I was informed that people have a hard time matching up captions with the correct pictures. One follower even thought I was calling my friend a cow in a previous post. Because of this, I will start putting the captions AFTER the photos.

 

There is really no significant reason to put these on, except we have an amazingly cute son!

 

Oh, some things worth mentioning....

1) He can sit (for a little bit)

2) He has a tooth!

3) He is continuing to expand on his green veggies. He has now eaten green beans and peas in addition to oatmeal and rice cereals. He has also had small samples of pita bread, bananas, whole wheat bread, Brinta, pizza crust, and of course, Daddy's fingers!
